to strap photos website
This is a collection of websites I have worked on, it is listed as newest on top, oldest in the bottom. Well, you know the deal. Contact me for work via e-mail at jussi (a) strap-photos dot com.

Strap-photos.com v2. After 1,5 years of extensive work within the first version of strap-photos.com, we decided that it was time for a redesign. The earlier version was a bit darker and we wanted to lighten it up a bit. Scroll down for the first version.

NGphoto.fi. Built for the New Generation photojournalism exhibition in the finnish museum of photography. Color theme and the logo were provided by Mira Hanafi. I didn't want to cram the site with pictures so we went with just one randomly changing picture in the layout. Cool project.

Frontside 3. Website for a snowboarding show on national mtv3 network. Fast assignment for a simple site. Check: www.frontside3.fi

Flatlightfilms.com. Miikka Niemi is a hardworking young filmmaker and on this website his work is portrayed in a clean and easy way. We went for something really simple and still kind of fresh.

tietoturva.ulapland.fi. The information security project we did in the University of Lapland was a well organized job managed by Manu Pajuluoma, I was the web/layout/idea/santa's helper dude and Pauli Kervinen worked as a graphic designer. The campaign launched this fall and is available for other schools throught the site.

Outowear.com 07-08. The site done for Outo world domination clothing campaign is the nicest so far. We included a gallery, and will be embedding videos of team members later. I also did the black and white photographs used in the layout and the wallpapers. Outo is a cool brand, so it's cool to work with something like that. I've known Ville from Outo for years now so he trusted my judgement to take the pictures exactly the way I wanted to.

LEINONEN portfolio, version 2.0. I've had a lot of websites, dating many years back. This is one of them, this version predated the current one that you're now browsing (in amazement). As you see it worked on a basic navigation system, which in the current version is obsolete.
This website is no longer online.

Strap-photos.com. A couple of years ago I met this dude with a receeding hairline and a camera, both of us had interest in doing something interesting with photographs in a documentary way. Currently we have 12 photo stories online, and more to come as long-term projects are published. We are very interested in working on assignments for magazines, organisations, festivals, people, anything. Petri lives in Lahti, and I live in Rovaniemi, so it's easy for Strap to cover events around Finland, and why not outside of the country too. Check out the site at http://www.strap-photos.com

AWA OY. AWA is a industrial automation company. I don't know anything about automation, but I did this website for them. Check the site at http://www.awaoy.fi

Outowear.com 06-07. A former Outo website. Refreshing the concept with a new layout, yet keeping the same flavor of the 05-06 site. This website is no longer online.

Sami Kilpio website. Sami needed a website to portray his photography work, so we created this simple site with nothing but images and information. Check out this website at http://www.kilpio.net

Pushin' the outerlimits. This project was a fictionary snowboarding movie that never saw the light of day, and never will. I did a funny pop-up website for it, I don't know what it is with blood and scetches on KELA papers. This website is no longer online.

Otto Suutari. Local artist Otto Suutari was looking for someone to do a website and photograph his paintings. I ended up doing it and meeting him, it was nice to spend time with a man who seemed really passionate with his art. I used one of his paintings for the graphic element on the site.

Outowear 05-06. The second Outo site used photographs to look cool. This website is no longer online.

LEINONEN portfolio version 1.0. This site dates back few years, around the time I was getting more into photography. I drew a picture of myself and put a huge text up there and that was the layout. I still like this site today, or mainly just how it looks. This website is no longer online.
