Railway renovations
Working against the clock, the men begin their work at around 4 in the morning. Working is done in teams, one group digs a hole under the tracks to insert a chain that cleans the gravel from under the tracks. Other groups tighten the screws, weld the tracks together, etc. All of the work must be done before first train comes from the north around noon.
