LAPIN KANSA: Director Pedro Costa in msfilmfestival. 13 Aug 2010 BACK TO BLOG


I had already forgotten about these pictures, they were nothing but a fading memory of a difficult assignment in my mind. But then Mr. Costa contacted me through the festival and wanted the pictures as a souvenier for himself.

Pictures are from so called "morning discussions" where chosen directors speak about their work. The light is horrible and the setting doesn't exactly tingle ones imagination. In situations like this I normally try to stay away from the obvious angles and wait for some gestures typical to the subject. Sometimes it works, apparently it did work for Mr. Costa.
