I'd propably drown if I did that, or maybe not, but I am somehow afraid of going in and just enjoying water. I have no problem with water as a element but something about it doesn't feel good for me. I'll have to get over that so I can swim with my sister's two little girls and keep them safe in water. Click to enlarge.

I don't swim. I may walk few meters in the water and dip in to the water but I don't swim. I don't think I can swim, honestly it has been so long since I did it the last time I don't know if I have the little skills I might have had. I just stand like a creep and watch other people swim. Finally back from my summer tour de Finland. Sleeping in 5 different beds during ten days is tiring for a guy like me who likes the comfort of his home. It was fun though, wouldn't change a minute of it. Now I've got the flue.
But about today's picture.. What's funny about photography is the pictures you don't remember taking, or even the pictures you didn't even take. You know those accidents and first exposures. This is a first picture in a roll I shot on my trip, I didn't compose this or even look throught the viewfinder but simply banged few frames to avoid important pictures looking like this. I've been framing a lot of pictures like this, cutting heads and stuff. I have to step away from that to keep it effective. I'm currently shooting some raw looking promo imagenary for a clothing company and I see no point including the models whole face in the composition when shooting for a t-shirt. A simple smile will do the job of giving out emotion and accompanying it to the garment. Maybe.

I'm still on the road, making a stop for my niece's birthday party. I shot pictures here with a 2 megapixel powershot A60. I have to get one of those better models for myself later. The focus is SLOW but the rest is ok, with a lot of adjustments available. My niece Kerttu in the picture, click to see her bigger.
