  1. walk home from work.
  2. live in a town where 5 flowers laying on a street is a "photo opportunity".
  3. bring your camera.
  4. being a working photographer, accidentally underexpose about 3 stops.
  5. scan the negative with very little care for the outcome.
  6. abuse what's left of the picture in photoshop.
  7. post it in your ass kicking photoblog and hope people will think it's cool just because it's fucked up to the bone.
  8. land smoothly and ride away.

I had to build a high quality clothesline for my penthouse in Kokkola. I don't have the balls to leave my shit drying in the laundryroom, some of the lowlife motherlovers living in these apartments would steal my boxers like it was nothing. So once in a while, my room is moist (oh yes) of my wet clothes drying. Good for your skin, they say.

And in case you didn't know, my wife (not really my wife but it sounds way cooler than girlfriend) is part of what is called tekstiiliromu kollektiivi. They recently won the ecological fashion competition held in the Helsinki pride event. So basically this means they kick more ass than you or me ever will. Check out what they're about here.

If you have money, read on.. Oh yeah, it seems like one of the unnamed camera brands (pay me and I'll say it) has come up with a medium sized digital SLR camera with a sensor equivelant to 35mm film. This is the tool I would be ready to go 90% digital again. Only problem is that I'm a little short on cash and the camera costs about 2600 eurobangers.
My alternatives are:
  1. You buy some fine art (f-art) prints from my catalog of extraordinary photographs. E-mail me at jussi (a) strap-photos.com about pricing and sizes. They're not expensive when you think about how much they kick ass.
  2. The unnamed camera brand could give me the camera free of charge and I could put a banner on this website saying you should buy their shit (because you would). Unnamed camerabrand marketing department, holla at your boy.
  3. I could stop eating and living under a roof and buy it with all I have.
  4. Just not buy it and shoot film.
  5. Steal it.
  6. Drink beer.

Sorry for not updating, but I've been so busy working and socializing with the lady, also I haven't managed to develop the few rolls of film that I've shot. What a bummah, so I gots no pictures to post.

In this picture: a sad story I encountered on my way to work.
I'm heading to Helsinki tomorrow, after an assignment at Suviseurat. I'll get back to brand new daily photos next week (meanwhile enjoy WORK blog). Lot's of panorama shit coming + I'll be shooting film during my Helsinki trip too! Excited about that, oh yes I am.
