The opening for my exhibition is tomorrow. Get ready to arrive at 18.00 and bring your friends! It's at VALO galleria, Lapin Yliopisto/TTK, yliopistonkatu 8, Rovaniemi. Let's make this a good one, it's a sure hit with DJ Mikko Mallikas providing the muzak!

I've been shooting a Ricoh GR digital II for a while now. Some thoughts, you don't need to read this, I just like to bitch about digital:
  • It is tiny and easily concealed (the camera, wiseass).
  • I can put a 28mm viewfinder in the hotshoe and not look like a dumbass shooting from the LCD.
  • It has a f/2.4 lens..
  • which doesn't help because the sensor is bullshit because..
  • shooting color @ 400 looks like shit.
  • I can go 6400 on a digital SLR and it looks great, and I still can't go 400, let alone 800 on a pocket digital? What kind of idiots design these things? It's 2008 dumbasses!
  • 10mp in a tiny bullshit sensor is too much, I'd be happy with 5 megapixels on the sensor, then I could go 800 on this thing.
  • 10mp is too much because I can't shoot continuous pictures in RAW mode, what bullshit! This means that if I shoot a picture, but the situation evolves and I need to make one right after the first one, I can't do it. I have to wait a while. This is 2008 goddamnit.
I guess I should just get a film GR.
