 Hulda Mahlavuo, 91, elää yksin eristyneenä Kittilän Kiistalassa. Hulda Mahlavuo, 91 years old, lives alone isolated in Kiistala, Kittilä.  Leo Linder joi elämästään 30 vuotta, nyt 10 vuoden raittiuden jälkeen ei kulu hetkeäkään ilman katumusta menetetystä elämästä. Leo Linder drank away 30 years of his life, now after 10 years of sobriety not a moment goes by without regret of life lost.  Meeri Tenhosen piha tulvi keväällä Ounasjoen varrella. Meeri Tenhonen's yard was flooded along Ounasjoki.  Rovaniemen Palloseuran Ebrima Sohna epäonnistuu maalinteossa heinäkuussa. Ebrima Sohna of RoPS fails at scoring a goal in august. Raimo, 55 years old schizophreniac draws hundreds of pictures of a lonely man's life.  Katja Kinisjärvi oli hirvikolarissa 10 vuotta sitten, hän jäi henkiin mutta aivovamma irrottaa hänet todellisuudesta ja äidistään Einestä. Katja Kinisjärvi was in a car accident 10 years ago. She survived but has no contact with her surroundings, including her mother Eine.  90-vuotias Irmeli Haase elää kotonaan ja tulee toimeen, jos häntä autetaan.     Actor/director Kari Väänänen remains my favorite person to photograph, eventhough I've only shot with him twice. Both times I've walked away with a feeling that I got something great out of him. Or maybe that he gave me something great. Last time it was cigars in the picture, now he smokes an electric tobacco, so now we had to go with the only spotlight in Viisikko Pub in Kemijärvi. Kari was a bit hungover from yesterday and went on a rant about everything between life in Kemijärvi and God. Being an actor and a confident fella, he has no problem being in pictures especially the way I like to work. We just figure out something simple and go with it. No extra lights, no bullshit. Can't wait to shoot with him again. |

 Pertti Mänty has no reception for his cellphone in the outskirts of Sonka. He has to use external antenna and remain in the same spot. Connection issues make his meat business hard to run. |

 Jukka Saarelainen and Jouko Rajanen opened a chocolate bakery in Rovaniemi. Choco Deli is located on the Lordi Square or Sampo Square as it should still be called. |

 Sweden's Charlotte Kalla.  Finland's Matti Heikkinen finished 15 kilometers on the 4th place.  Petter Northug did not win.  Aino-Kaisa Saarinen had to start from the back row and fight her way up.  USA's last skier exhausted on the finish line, they made it to the podium.  Krista Lähteenmäki disappointed after the race. |
