 Marching.  Batons.  Just like for many past years, there was an alternative May Day demonstration in Helsinki this year too. It was called 'Murrostorstai 2009' ('Breaking Thursday', or something..), after the first Murrostorstai held in 1993, which was the previous time Finland was in depression. So here it is, my first story in Strap. Don't Panic Earlier this month I spent a week in London, didn't have too much time to get known to the city as this project took most of the time.. But it really was worth it to travel there, now it's even clearer to me what kind of photography I want to do in future.  Here it is. PS. If anyone needs a photographer, my summer is free.. It's not very easy to do this kind of photography with a student budget.. Hire me. |

 Rovaniemi, 2009. In case you haven't signed the petition for finnish freelancer rights, sign it here: http://www.adressit.com/freentekijanoikeus They're really trying to fuck people over with contracts like this, leaving the photog/illustrator/writer with almost no rights for their own work. |
